Grave Spaces

Grave spaces in Mt. Olivet Memorial Park vary in price for many reasons, mainly the size of the graves and type of memorial allowed. Graves in newer sections are typically bigger to accommodate larger vaults and larger caskets.  Graves in sections allowing any kind of above-ground (non-flush) headstone are also larger to accommodate extra space required for the memorial.

When we give pricing for a grave space, we give you the total cost required to purchase interment rights to one grave space in the desired section.  This price given includes not only the cost of the interment rights, but also a 15% contribution to our endowment care fund as required by Illinois State Law.  There are no other processing fees, office fees, etc.

Interment rights purchased prior to death (pre-need) are eligible to be put on a payment plan.  We require that all balances be paid in full before any burials can take place.

Prices for grave spaces start at $1,300 per space and increase from there depending on section and memorial type.

At Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, we allow a maximum of either one full size burial and two cremations per grave space OR four cremations per grave space. We do not inter two full size burials in one grave space unless that space is purchased in our double-depth lawn crypt section.
